Marine Le Pen to visit The Danish Foreign Policy Society and the newspaper Berlingske

26. april 2019 kl. 14.00 - 15.30 CEST

Marine Le Pen has been a prominent figure on the European right throughout the last two decades. In her capacity of president of the largest French party represented in the EP and in the polls for the next election, Rassemblement National (formerly Front National) since 2016, and as candidate at the French presidential elections in 2017, Marine Le Pen has represented a controversial position on France in the EU cooperation and in the world.  Madame Le Pen rejects globalization that she denotes as anti-ecologic and detrimental to the interests of nations. Marine Le Pen will offer her account on the Yellow Vests movement and sketch out her vision for Europe in light of the upcoming elections for the European Parliament.

The meeting is moderated by Associate Professor at The Department of English, Germanic and Romance Studies (University of Copenhagen), Jørn Boisen, and takes place in French. Translation will be available. Please register on this link.
