Security or Democracy – Do we need to make a choice?
The European Endowment for Democracy, International Media Support, Danish Insitute for Parties and Democracy and Danish Foreign Policy Society invited to this conference to discuss how Europe engages in supporting the development of democracy and democracy activists in the European Neighbourhood Countries.

This conference took an in-depth look at the situation in Egypt, Syria and Ukraine, where democracy activists shared their first-hand experience on how to enhance democracy in their home land and their assessment on concrete steps that can be taken to support positive development.

Director Charlotte Flindt Pedersen was the moderator of the panel debate on initiatives against corruption in Ukraine.
